Alpha combined a drier, a chiller and proprietary technology to test cured samples down to −25 °C — one really cool (pun intended) instrument.
A single Sub-Zero sequence covers uncured processing, cure and scorch, and seven tire performance predictors. See the Specifications tab for the full method table.
Sub-Zero conditions can run at the end of a standard RPA release test that measures uncured processing, cure/scorch and physical properties. You get predictors that were previously exclusive to a DMA, from the instrument already in your lab.
