How it works

How does AlphaFlex10™ work?

AlphaFlex10 is a high-elongation tensile tester for a wide range of rubber materials, including elastomers and non-rigid plastics. It applies tensile force to a specimen held in counterbalanced clamps at pre-selected gauge lengths, while an optical encoder measures the slightest change in gauge length and sends the signal to the conditioner interface for processing.

Low tracking force

A unique design keeps tracking force extremely low for testing sensitive materials.

Built to take it

Robust construction easily withstands high release forces and breaking energies.

Rapid throughput

A simple, effective follower attachment method keeps samples moving.
